Sometimes something comes along to make you consider your own life and reflect on how lucky one is. Today I went on Safeguarding Adults training to become an Alerter (a reporter of suspected abuse cases). The case studies we worked on made me sick to the pit of my stomach but at the same time made me realise how lucky I am! to have the support I have and the caring people around me as well as having my health.
